Kensoon Asiatic Arts has been dealing in Chinese and Southeast Asian
antiques since the early 1970s, when high-quality ceramics were being found
in the region, and many pieces found their way to Singapore, where the
company is based.

In the 1980s, it set up an arm in Hong Kong. The timing was fortuitous, as China, was opening up to the world again, making available to collectors a
wealth of artifacts, ranging from Neolithic pottery to Qing Dynasty
porcelain.

TS Loh, Kensoon's proprietor, travels extensively in search of items that
would be of interest to his clients, be they established collectors, or just
discovering the joys of appreciating artifacts. His company has helped
source for pieces which are now in the collections of top museums.

Kensoon specializes in Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian artifacts.
Recently, the company has been venturing into Buddhist statuary from Burma.
